I would describe my personal practice style as being direct. I believe that communication is primary importance. I try very hard to explain to my patients in nonmedical terminology why they are seeing me. I explain the options for management of the problem(s), the potential side effects of treatment, and potential problems with nontreatment. I try to end every appointment with the following question: “Do you have any questions”
